2. Commissioned by Grand Vizier Mehmed Paša Sokolović, the person who exercised power over a long period at the summit of the Ottoman Empire according to Wikipedia. The historic bridge of Višegrad was built by and opened in 1570’s.

3. According to UNESCO official website, Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge was a designed by Mimar Koca Sinan, one of the greatest architect architects and engineer of the classical Ottoman period and contemporary of the Italian Renaissance.
