Connections can be made to Cranbrook, estimated 152 miles (245 km) south of Golden, B.C Airport Shuttles from Calgary, then Alberta are already available to Lake Louise near the park’s east entrance.

  • To get to nearby towns of Golden B.C and Lake Louise AB by bus, a regular Greyhound transport service is available in both Calgary and Vancouver respectively. For people planning to visit the park by rail, there is a limited rail service on sightseeing basis through the Yoho National Park.

  • Also according from Parks Canada, the only major route to the park is Highway 1 (Trans Canada Highway). Which runs with estimated 27 miles through the centre of park. Most people who travel and explore the park are in personal vehicle. Because there’s still no public transportation within the area of Yoho National Park.
