About Us

Hi, we’re Mark and Beatriz — the couple behind YOLO Moments. After years of raising kids, running households, and keeping up with the everyday grind, life looks a little different now. Our kids are grown, out of the house, and chasing their own dreams. And us? We decided it was finally time to chase ours.

For us, travel isn’t about checking boxes or filling a passport with stamps (though we don’t mind when that happens). It’s about collecting moments — the ones you look back on and say, “Wow, I can’t believe we did that.” From spontaneous road trips across Florida, to cruises that carry us to new horizons, to discovering little hole-in-the-wall restaurants that make a place feel alive — these are the moments we live for.

Florida is home, and it’s where our adventures usually start. We’re endlessly curious about what makes the Sunshine State so special — the beaches, the springs, the quirky roadside attractions, the food (oh, the food!). But our wanderlust doesn’t stop at the state line. Every now and then you’ll find us writing about international destinations too, weaving them into our story.
